This was the event of the year for me, in my eyes. It's the one I remember most because so much energy went into it. I pushed limits, learned a ton, gained confidence to start hiring help, and I'm very proud of what my team and I accomplished. I can't wait to do it again!
This event is a peek into the future we are working towards. Not only did we take this one on, this event was one part of that first weekend of May 2021. I've talked about that weekend before. That weekend was EPIC. I'm still recovering in some ways... and trying to catch up with myself. I haven't been sure when to share this event but I think now is the time.
This was a beautiful balloon Installation. I love it. It set a tone for the room and provided a photo opportunity. In addition to all other elements, this event was gorgeous.
This gorgeous event took place at TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton, NJ. I had just hired my new designer, Nick, not long before this. I sent him out into the foyer with some balloons, and told him to "do up this easel all flowy like".
The result was just gorgeous!
Nick also added a little touch to the fireplace mantle.
And then, there was the "Build Your Own Bouquet" Bar.
The bar was set in the center of a round room, making the space beautiful from every angle. There were 66 guests, and we had enough flowers for everyone. We wrapped their bouquets in cute brown paper, included a flower food packet, tied them up with ribbon and added a custom thank you tag provided by our client.
The Bouquets had to sit for a while out of water, so we added a plastic wrapped wet paper towel (the Hydrangea were placed in water tubes) to the cut stems to help them out.
We built this custom white cart to be ready for this event.
When I say "What a Weekend", I actually mean: I can't believe we did all of this in one weekend!
